Rachel visiting the breakfast club at Goodyers End Primary
The Government is committed to giving all children the best start in life and free breakfast clubs for all primary schools is a big part of that. Rachel went to visit Goodyers End Primary School in Bedworth last week to see one of the first breakfast clubs in action, and to hear about the difference it is making. There are several benefits to breakfast clubs:
  • Having a breakfast makes a big difference to children’s concentration
  • Can save parents an estimated £450 per year
  • Gives more flexibility for parents in the morning
Rachel enjoyed seeing the children enjoying their breakfast, socialising, and getting some important play time in before school.
Rachel said “I am looking forward to every school in North Warwickshire and Bedworth having a free breakfast club.”
