Rachel has welcomed officials from the Department for Housing, Communities, and Local Government to Bedworth this week as the ‘Believe in Bedworth’ project takes another step forward.
The group visited some of Bedworth’s highlights, including the Miner’s Welfare Park, The Harbour Centre, Bedworth Heritage Centre, and All Saints Church, and enjoyed a spot of lunch at the Mayor’s café. The visitors thoroughly enjoyed their time in the town and left feeling excited about the potential the scheme holds for Bedworth.
Speaking after the visit, Rachel said:
It was fantastic to host this group of officials from the Minister of Housing, Communities and Local Government. The places I showed them are great examples of how Bedworth’s community spirit can be used to create great community spaces for the town. I’m looking forward to drawing inspiration from these local successes as we develop our plans, and hearing your views on what you want to see this money spent on.
