Rachel recently met with Cllr George Finch, Leader of Warwickshire County Council, and some of his fellow councillors to discuss the powers that the Labour Government has offered to Councils and how this new system would enable the Council, rather than the commercial operators, to decide where and when the buses should run.
This would mean a fairer system, with profits from the busier services, helping to pay for less profitable routes, and services co-ordinated with each other and other forms of transport.
