Time and time again Rachel hears from parents and teachers who tell her that the education system is just not working for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
That’s why Rachel has launched a consultation on the SEND system, so she can hear directly from residents and teachers about their experiences of the system and what they want to see from it. The results of the survey will be shared anonymously with the government as part of its own national consultation on SEND education.
The consultation will be open from 1 September till 14 September 2025.
