Rachel has visited George Eliot Hospital to meet with the Senior Leadership team, where she raised problems constituents have reported, including delays in receiving scan results and issues with Blue Badge parking. The Trust accepted there have been issues, and talked Rachel through improvements they have already made to bring down delays in waits for scans and to other aspects of care. They’ve also agreed to simplify Blue Badge parking.
Speaking after the visit, Rachel said:
Visiting George Eliot Hospital was a great opportunity to walk around and see our wonderful NHS staff at work in the new diagnostic centre, and to press them for further improvements to cut delays in test and scan results.
