Rachel has visited Hubtel IT in Nether Whitacre. She said:

“Thank you very much to Neil and the team at Hubtel IT in Nether Whitacre for inviting me to their business to tell me about the work they do. They work with businesses and charities to provide vital IT and cybersecurity services – very important in today’s world and for my constituency as we saw with the recent JLR issues.

It’s fantastic to see successful SMEs in North Warwickshire and Bedworth providing jobs and supporting our local economy.”

Currently across the UK there are four major incidents a week caused by cyberattacks, which are a 24-hour vocation for cyber criminals – a threat that Hubtel IT is continually working to combat.

Rachel also said on her visit:

West Midlands firms like Hubtel IT are leading the way when it comes to ensuring businesses can reap the benefits and protect themselves against the threats posed by new technologies.

“As the recent cyberattack against Jaguar Land Rover shows, these attacks can cause real damage not just to individual businesses, but to whole communities.

“It was a real treat to meet with Neil and the team at Hubtel IT in Whitacre Heath and learn more about the vital work they are doing keeping us all protected in our increasingly digital world.”

Neil Bayliss founded Hubtel IT in 2002 from his parents’ home in Hall Green in Birmingham. In order to resource its AI-driven growth strategy, Hubtel recently employed three new people – marketing manager Craig Potts, tech help desk manager Michelle Loveland and IT support engineer Jake Barwell – a 25 per cent increase bringing its total workforce to 15.
