Rachel has again met with Steve at Grimscote Manor Hotel, alongside representatives from HS2, to discuss the significant impact that construction activity has had on the business.
Like many local businesses affected by HS2, Grimscote Manor Hotel has invested years of hard work building its reputation and customer base, only to face ongoing disruption and uncertainty as a result of the project.
Rachel welcomed the constructive discussion with HS2 and secured agreement on a number of next steps. She stressed, however, that listening must now be followed by real action, with businesses that have been significantly impacted needing practical support, meaningful engagement and a clear plan to address the challenges they continue to face.
Rachel will continue to stand up for businesses across North Warwickshire and Bedworth, holding HS2 to account and pressing to ensure that the commitments made are delivered.
