A Red Letter Day:

Opening the post on 14 December 2023 really was a ‘Red Letter Day’ for me! At this time of the year it’s really wonderful to open lovely Christmas cards sent to myself & Dawn, and to be honest I thought a tame white envelope popping through the post may have been a bill or something not very exciting!

Imagine my surprise to find a letter from our Shadow Chancellor, Rt Hon. Rachel Reeves who had kindly written to me to express her congratulations and support for my candidacy as Labour’s Parliamentary Candidate for North Warwickshire & Bedworth.

One of the things I love most about being part of the Labour party is the teamwork and support we give and receive across the community. I have been so proud to support other Labour candidates and councillors with their campaigns over the years – canvassing my way across the West Midlands to help with campaigns.

I feel so privileged and grateful to now see that same team spirit flooding into North Warwickshire & Bedworth, and together I really hope we can make it a Red Letter Day for everyone in our constituency!
