Rachel has written to HS2 to demand answers after constituents contacted her following large rent increases at properties they are renting that are owned by HS2. In her letter she said:

I believe that the extent of rent increases reported to me would be grossly unfair under normal circumstances, but are especially so given the decrease in maintenance services quality and the impact of construction works on quality of life. I therefore strongly urge you to reconsider the rent increases.
