Some of you may have noticed Rachel was up bright and early last Wednesday — she was out shadowing Steve the postie on his round!

Rachel started the morning by sorting all the mail for CV9 into delivery rounds — including scanning a mountain of parcels so people could track their deliveries. With the van loaded, she then joined Steve on his round through Merevale Road and Grendon to help deliver the post.

Speaking after the post round, Rachel said:

It was a real eye-opener seeing just how much goes on behind the scenes to get each letter to the right doorstep.

Huge thanks to Steve, Lynne, Katrina and the whole team for letting me tag along — I came away with a real appreciation for how much hard work goes into making sure we all get our mail on time.
