Rachel has visited DHL and Trade Team in Hams Hall where she met hard working constituents getting online shopping orders out of the door at Selfridges’ online and retail warehouse. 20% of Rachel’s constituents work in freight and logistics, so as Chair of the all-party group on this vital industry, championing the sector and its workers is one of her biggest priorities as an MP.
At the distribution centre, she spoke to manager Laura about the huge and intricate operation that gets the products we buy to where they need to be. After the visit Rachel said:
