Rachel really enjoyed her latest visit to North Warwickshire Over 50’s Lunch Club at St Benedict’s Community Hall, Atherstone. She said it was a pleasure to share some stories from her recent trip to Ukraine, delivering an ambulance full of medical supplies donated by local company LKQ Euro Car Parts to the humanitarian effort.
She also discussed a number of other issues over coffee and cake including immigration, the NHS and energy costs. She was also able to update residents on some local issues, and followed up on some local drainage concerns immediately after the meeting.
Rachel always enjoys visiting this lunch club, and thanked Brian and Margaret Ingram and the other volunteers, and to everyone who made her feel welcome.
