Rachel recently met Laura, Olivia and Chris at Fagan and Whalley in Bedworth, another fantastic local business contributing to the thriving logistics industry in her constituency. It’s a wonderful family owned business that has been around for over 100 years.
Rachel had the chance to see their new electric HGV investment and talk to them about the challenges in the industry. She said it is encouraging to see women business owners making a difference in this sector and also to hear how driver welfare is so important for them as this is a topic close to her heart. It was worrying too to see first hand the impact of freight crime on their business. Rachel will continue to champion the call for action to tackle the issue as part of her work in Parliament.
