Rachel has called for action from Warwickshire County Council to fill in a mega-pothole in Atherstone, and for action to deal with potholes across North Warwickshire and Bedworth. Labour increased the national potholes budget this year by more than 50%, meaning there is no excuse for Warwickshire’s inaction.
The MP reported the pothole to the Reform UK-controlled council on 19 December, and expressed her frustration that of 7 January no action had been taken to fill it in.
Writing on Facebook, she said:
I reported this mega-pothole in Atherstone to Warwickshire County Council on 19 December, yet still absolutely nothing has been done about it.
Labour has given Warwickshire an additional £6.7 million to fill potholes this year. What’s the hold up?
