Rachel has marked Founders Day – or ‘Bun Day’ as it fondly known as by Beduth locals – alongside local school children, residents, and trustees of the Nicholas Chamberlaine Trust at Bedworth Almshouses.
Speaking after the event she said:
“It was a real honour to mark Bun Day in the sunshine this year, and I especially enjoyed giving out the tasty currant buns from local bakery Gaytons in Baddesley. Sudden Impact Theatre Company brought Nicholas Chamberlaine to life, telling the story about his desire for the money he left in his will to be used to help with young people’s education and to support older people with health and housing. It’s amazing that the Trust continues his work today.What a fantastic event and a great way to commemorate someone who continues to have such a positive impact on Bedworth.”
