Rachel has attended the Atherstone Big Weekender. Speaking after the event she said:
“Another hugely successful Atherstone Big Weekender despite the weather. Thank you to the Atherstone Partnership and all the volunteers for their colossal efforts to put on a wonderful weekend of fun, fantastic performances and commemorations.
“I was honoured to be a sponsor and to speak at the D-Day remembrance service and thoroughly enjoyed the weekend, even my stint collecting rubbish. It’s such a great boost for the people and businesses of the town, and shows our community and our town at its best. Truly proud of my home town.”
