Volunteers week celebrates the work that volunteers do, so Rachel joined Warwickshire and Solihul CAVA at their volunteer celebration to recognise all the fantastic work our local volunteers do, followed by a quiz for local volunteers.
Rachel enjoyed the event and said “What better way to celebrate our fantastic volunteers than a sing-a-long with Sue Tonks from Singing with Dementia over a cream tea at Warwickshire and Solihul’s Volunteer Celebration followed by a quiz with fantastic prizes and food at the Saunders Club organised by Believe in Bedworth for volunteers. I have enjoyed meeting volunteers across the constituency and seeing the invaluable work they do, running lunch clubs, youth activities, community events, advice sessions, park run and much much more. Volunteering brings people together, and strengthens our communities.
