Astley Castle has been beautifully renovated by the Landmark Trust thanks to a National Lottery Heritage grant. Rachel joined Ste Dunn from the National Lottery to have a look round with Bridget, Rob and Vic – and Brock!
The castle dates back to Saxon times and still has a lot of the original features. It is now fully accessible and is available to book for self catered stays, but they also have a free open weekend in September for anyone who wants to have a look around this historical building on our doorstep and learn more about it.
