Families will be able to enjoy a festive skating experience at Bedworth Covered Market this Christmas, following an announcement by Rachel.
Bedworth is set for an extra dose of Christmas magic this year, with a festive ice rink coming to the town’s Covered Market as part of the £20 million Believe in Bedworth programme.
Opening from Friday 27 November to Saturday 5 December, 10am to 8am daily, the ice rink will give residents and visitors the chance to get their skates on, enjoy a new festive attraction and make special Christmas memories in the heart of the town.
The announcement is part of the wider ambition of Believe in Bedworth to revitalise the town, create new opportunities and deliver activities and investment that make Bedworth a more vibrant and welcoming place to live, work and visit.
Bedworth Covered Market has recently undergone a major renovation, with further improvements planned to transform it into a year-round events space and attract more visitors into the town centre.

“Creating opportunities for our community to come together and providing more things for children and families to do in our town centre is one of the biggest things Bedworth residents want to see for our town. It’s fantastic to see the ice rink coming to Bedworth in time for Christmas, as part of the government’s £20m Believe in Bedworth programme.
“Events and attractions like this make such a difference to our town – bringing people together, creating wonderful experiences for families, and encouraging more people to visit and support our local businesses.
“I look forward to seeing many residents at the covered market for a glass of mulled wine and a spin across the ice as we get ready for a fantastic Christmas season in Bedworth.”

The ice rink will complement Bedworth’s wider Christmas programme, including the town’s festive market and other seasonal activities, helping to create a lively festive atmosphere and bring additional footfall into the town centre.
Through the government’s £20 million Believe in Bedworth programme, local partners are working together to celebrate the town’s strengths, champion its communities and deliver lasting improvements that make a tangible difference to residents.
