Rachel Taylor MP was elected as the Labour MP for North Warwickshire and Bedworth at the 2024 general election, overturning a majority of 17,956 votes to take the seat from the Conservatives.

Prior to that, she was a local councillor in North Warwickshire and worked as a property solicitor with a high street firm in the constituency, while also previously serving as a line judge and umpire at Wimbledon and in grassroots tennis. She has also served as Vice President of the National Union of Students.

Since joining Parliament, Rachel has become the Chair of the APPG for Freight and Logistics, become a member of the Women and Equality Select Committee, and championed LGBTQ+ rights and greater inclusion in sport. She has also launched campaigns to tackle freight crime, improve local bus services in North Warwickshire and Bedworth, and tackle disruption and poor public engagement by HS2. She also secured £20m from the government to rejuvenate Bedworth Town Centre.
