Rachel Taylor Campaign Officially launches
Last week, over one hundred supporters joined Rachel to officially launch the start of her campaign at an event held at Atherstone Sports Club.
The launch event kicked off with an address from former Labour MP, Mike O’Brien KC who addressed supporters, offered campaigning advice and his endorsement and support to Rachel Taylor.
Rachel then addressed supporters, commenting on her pride to represent her community of North Warwickshire and Bedworth, her thanks to supporters who have helped to launch her campaign and outlining her five campaign priorities that she is passionate to deliver for our constituency:
- Revitalise our high streets and support local businesses
- Support local people through the cost-of-living crisis
- Fix our roads, make them safe and protect our green spaces
- Tackle crime and anti-social behaviour
- Fix our local NHS; improving access to GPs and dentists.
As well as a social occasion, the launch event was used as an opportunity to collect donations which will be passed on to local good causes which Rachel is committed to supporting as part of her campaign to enable her to make a difference to the community right now.
Commenting on the official campaign launch, Rachel Taylor said: “I’m so proud to be standing as the Labour Party Parliamentary Candidate to represent my local community. I was born and attended school in North Warwickshire and after time away at University and the early years of my career working for community groups across the West Midlands, I returned back to North Warwickshire in 2003. It means that over the last twenty years I’ve played an active part in our local community in business, in my role as a solicitor, getting involved in sports and arts groups and more recently as a local Councillor. It would be such a privilege to represent North Warwickshire and Bedworth as their next MP and one which I will never take for granted”
“I’m passionate about representing all communities across the North Warwickshire and Bedworth constituency and ensuring the voices of our constituents are heard in Westminster.”
